- After recurring throughout the first three seasons, Lea DeLaria has been promoted to series regular for the upcoming fourth season of the prison dramedy. She plays prison inmate Carrie "Big Boo" Black.
NBC's HEROES: REBORN
- Toru Uchikado, Francesca Eastwood, Pruitt Taylor Vince and Eve Harlow have joined the cast of the upcoming event series starring Zachary Levi and Jack Coleman. No details were immediately made available about the characters they will be playing.
SUNDANCETV's HAP AND LEONARD
- The Following alum James Purefoy has been cast as the co-lead opposite Michael Kenneth Williams on the upcoming drama series. He will play Hap Collins, a white, working-class laborer who spent time in federal prison as a young man for refusing to be drafted to serve in Vietnam.
HBO's LEWIS AND CLARK
- Josh Stewart and Parker Croft have joined the cast of the upcoming miniseries starring Casey Affleck and Matthias Schoenaerts. Stewart will play Ruben Field, a woodsman from Kentucky who will assist Lewis (Affleck) and Clark (Schoenaerts) in every aspect of their journey. Croft will play George Shannon, the youngest and greenest member of the expedition.
USA's ROYAL PAINS
- The Mindy Project star Ed Weeks will appear on an upcoming episode of the drama's seventh season. He will play Cole Chapman Smith, an intense Hollywood method actor who thinks Hank (Mark Feuerstein) is the perfect person to help him prepare for his next role.
FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL
- Angela Bassett is the latest American Horror Story veteran to return for the upcoming fifth installment of the horror anthology. Like all of the previous casting, no details were released about the character she will be playing.
AMC's FEAR THE WALKING DEAD
- Elizabeth Rodriguez (Orange Is the New Black, Grimm) has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming first season. Details about the character she will be playing are being kept under wraps.
SYFY's Z NATION
- Matt Cedeño (Days of Our Lives, Devious Maids) has joined the drama's upcoming second season as a new series regular. He will play Vasquez, a mysterious bounty hunter who joins the zombie-fighting team - with questionable motives.
