Casting News - Aaron Paul Returns to TV in 'The Way'; Michael Ealy Lands 'Secrets & Lies' Lead; Plus 5 More Updates!

ABC's Madoff & Secrets and Lies; FX's American Horror Story: Hotel; HBO's Untitled Rock N' Roll Drama; Hulu's The Way; NBC's Coach; and Starz's Outlander.

  • Laurence Dobiesz (The Bill, Great Expectations) has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. He will play Alex Randall, the younger brother of "Black Jack" Randall (Tobias Menzies) who is gentle, loving and kind. He serves as a curate and secretary for the Duke of Sandringham.
  • Annie Parisse (The Following) and Ken Marino (Marry Me) have been cast in recurring roles on the drama's upcoming first season. Parisse will play Andrea Zito, a tough as nails PR rep for a competing record company. Marino will play Jackie Jervis, a cunning A&E executive from a rival record company.
  • Michael Ealy (The Following, Almost Human) has landed the lead role opposite Juliette Lewis on the drama's upcoming second season. He will play Eric Warner, a smart, well-educated and hard working man who's at the top of his game. He's the heir apparent to his family's private equity firm in Charlotte, NC, newly married to Kate and walking on air. Eric is attending a party to honor dad passing over the reins when suddenly tragedy strikes - his wife Kate is murdered, and life as he knows it is over.
  • Original Coach co-star Bill Fagerbakke is set to reprise his role as former assistant coach Michael "Dauber" Dybinski as a series regular on the upcoming sequel series starring Craig T. Nelson.
  • Charles Grodin (Louie) has joined the cast of the upcoming miniseries starring Richard Dreyfuss. He will play Carl Shapiro, an investor who lost millions in Bernie Madoff's (Dreyfuss) Ponzi scheme.
  • Finn Wittrock - who co-starred in American Horror Story: Freak Show - has officially been added to the cast of the upcoming fifth installment of the anthology series. No details were immediately released about the character he will be playing. However, series co-creator Ryan Murphy teased on Twitter that he'd be caught in a love triangle with the characters played by Lady Gaga and Matt Bomer.
  • Emmy winner Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) has been cast as the male lead on the upcoming drama series created by Jessica Goldberg. He will play Eddie Cleary, a supportive husband and long-time member of The Way. Having grown up in a troubled blue-collar household, The Way was his way out. Recently returned from a retreat with other members of the movement, Eddie is distant and emotionless, distraught from what he witnessed on the trip. His wife (Michelle Monaghan) believes he is having an affair, but Eddie is really sneaking off to meet with a still unknown person who claims to know "the truth" about The Way. Doing his best to keep up appearances and continue to lead his family by following The Way's teachings, Eddie must face a truth that might destroy everything he believes in.
