Netflix's The Crown & The Get Down; Syfy's Hunters; and USA's Playing House.





NETFLIX's THE CROWN
  • Claire Foy (Wolf Hall), Matt Smith (Doctor Who) and John Lithgow (Dexter) have been cast on the upcoming drama series created by Peter Morgan and Stephen Daldry. Foy will play Queen Elizabeth II. Smith will play Philip Mountbatten, Duke of Edinburgh. Lithgow will play Sir Winston Churchill.
SYFY's HUNTERS
  • Britne Oldford (Ravenswood, The Divide) has been tapped to play the female lead on the upcoming drama series written by Natalie Chaidez. She will play Regan, a talented and valuable government operative.
USA's PLAYING HOUSE
  • Property Brothers stars Drew and Jonathan Scott will appear as themselves on an upcoming episode of the comedy's second season. In the episode, they appear to remake Maggie's (Lennon Parham) body into the "hottest property on the market."
NETFLIX's THE GET DOWN
  • Breaking Bad alum Giancarlo Esposito has joined the cast of the upcoming drama series created by Baz Luhrmann. He will play Pastor Ramon Cruz, the charismatic head of the local Pentecostal church who attracts a flock of followers with his fiery sermons and firm, steady leadership. Pastor Cruz is the father of Mylene Cruz (Herizen Guardiola), whose dreams of disco stardom often put her at odds with her dad. He is also the brother of Francisco Cruz aka "Papa Fuerte" (Jimmy Smits).
