SYFY's 12 MONKEYS
- Barbara Sukowa and Todd Stashwick have been promoted to series regular status for the drama's upcoming second season. Sukowa plays Jones and Stashwick plays Deacon. Additionally, Battlestar Galactica alum Michael Hogan has landed a recurring role as Dr. Vance Eckland, a charismatic and intelligent scientist from the future.
ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME
- Amy Manson (Being Human) has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fifth season. She will play Merida - aka the lead character from the Pixar film Brave.
HULU's THE AWESOMES
- The third season of the hit animated comedy will premiere on Tuesday, September 8, it was announced during the show's Comic-Con panel.
THE CW's THE FLASH
- During the show's panel at Comic-Con, it was announced that the upcoming second season will feature Teddy Sears (Masters of Sex) as Jay Garrick and Shantel VanSanten (The Messengers) as Patty Spivot. On the new season, Jay Garrick arrives in Central City to warn Barry (Grant Gustin) of an impending danger that he needs help to stop. Meanwhile, Spivot is a police detective and science enthusiast whom Barry ends up having a crush on and is also the new partner of Joe's (Jesse L. Martin).
CBS' SUPERGIRL
- Peter Facinelli (Nurse Jackie, American Odyssey) has been tapped to play the villainous Maxwell Lord on the upcoming drama series, it was announced today by executive producer Ali Adler during the show's panel at Comic-Con. On the drama, Lord is a green tech billionaire who enjoys a friendly rivalry with Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) and is fascinated by Supergirl (Melissa Benoist).
