Development News - Joy Bryant and Chris Diamantopoulos Join Amazon's 'The Good Girls Revolt'; Plus 4 More Updates!

Amazon's The Good Girls Revolt & Highston; FX"s Snowfall; Syfy's Incorporated; and USA's Paradise Pictures.





AMAZON's THE GOOD GIRLS REVOLT
  • Joy Bryant (Parenthood) and Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley) have been cast on the drama pilot starring Anna Camp and Genevieve Angels. Bryant will play Eleanor Holmes Norton, a civil rights activist. Diamantopoulos will play a character named Oz.
FX's SNOWFALL
  • DeRay Davis (The Boondocks) has landed a regular role on the drama pilot written by John Singleton and Eric Amadio. He will play Jerome Saint, a tough criminal who helps his nephew Franklin (Damson Idris) get his start in the cocaine trade.
AMAZON's HIGHSTON
  • Curtis Armstrong (King of the Nerds, New Girl) has joined the cast of the comedy pilot starring Mary Lynn Rajskub. He will play Billy, Highston's uncle.
SYFY's INCORPORATED
  • Sean Teale (Reign) and Georgina Haig (Once Upon a Time) have booked the lead roles on the drama pilot written by David and Alex Pastor. Teale will play Ben Larson, a rising star in a mega-corporation called Chrysalis who is determined to climb the rickety, bloodstained ladder of success in order to find and rescue the woman (Haig) he loves - and will tromp on anyone who gets in his way.
USA's PARADISE PICTURES
  • Denyse Tontz (All My Children) and Duane Henry (The Cut Series II) have been cast on the drama pilot written by Rick Muirragui. Tontz will play Luciana Delgado, a young aspiring actress who arrives in Hollywood from the small town of Marfa, Texas. The bright-eyed Latina has grand ambitions but quickly learns that the people behind the camera aren't as noble as the characters in her favorite movies. Henry will play Aldo Boyd, an actor and jazz player who performs in the nightclub at the Dunbar Hotel. Despite his talent, he has been relegated to bit parts in movies because of the color of his skin.
