A&E's The Infamous and ABC Family's Gorgeous Morons.
A&E's THE INFAMOUS
- The cable network has given a pilot order to period drama The Infamous written by Joshua Zetumer. Executive producers are Zetumer, Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson. A+E Studios and Color Force produce. Set against real events in turbulent 1990s Los Angeles, The Infamous centers on two complicated men on a collision course: an ambitious reformed gangster poised to break out of South Central and the LAPD detective hellbent on taking him down.
ABC FAMILY's GORGEOUS MORONS
- Christopher Russell and Dylan Playfair have been cast as the male leads on the comedy pilot written by Danny Chun. Russell will play Madison, a pretentious but vapid model capable of getting whatever he wants by simply flashing his incredible smile but who suffers an identity crisis after he's cast as a dad for a catalogue shoot. Playfair will play AJ, a personal trainer and a former ugly duckling who is not always comfortable with his hunkiness.
SHOWTIME's ROADIES
- The hourlong comedy pilot written and directed by Cameron Crowe has decided to completely revamp and recast the female lead role of Shelli - played in the original pilot by Mad Men alum Christina Hendricks. The parting is said to be solely because of creative reasons.
