Development News - TNT Gives Pilot Order to Drama 'Home'; ABC Family's 'Guilt' Rounds Out Cast; Plus 1 More Update!

  • The cable network has given a pilot order to drama Home - which was original set up at FOX when current TNT and TBS president Kevin Reilly was running things. Aron Eli Coleite wrote the pilot, and Brad Anderson will direct. Executive producers are Coleite, Anderson, Jerry Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman. KristieAnne Reed is a co-executive producer. Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Warner Horizon Television will produce. The project centers on the newly pregnant Rose Altman, an accomplished designer with a successful business and wonderful life with husband, Joe, a highly regarded prison psychologist, and the stepmother to his two sons. But her image of her perfect family is shattered when she discovers secrets that threaten to destroy the very foundation of her life.
  • Cristian Solimeno, Naomi Ryan, Simona Brown, Sam Cassidy and Dinita Gohill have joined the cast of the drama pilot. Solimeno will play D.S. Bruno, an ambitious detective sergeant with Scotland Yard who is determined to get to the bottom of this murder. Ryan will play Gwendolyn, the Crown Prosecutor who is heavily involved with the case and shares a complicated history with Bruno. Brown will play Roz, whose guarded exterior hides the fact that she is involved with some shady dealings. Cassidy will play Prince Thea, a member of the Royal Family who secret crossed paths with Molly. Gohill will play Meera, a fellow student who is also a reporter.
  • Men at Work alum Michael Cassidy has landed a regular role on the comedy pilot starring Wyatt Cenac. He will play Jonathan Walsh, the charismatic and wildly successful young CEO of Walsh Media. While he strives to appear like a down-to-earth guy, he is infatuated with status and the trappings of success. He is Wyatt's (Cenac) boss and also considers himself to be Wyatt's close friend.
