THE CW's LEGENDS OF TOMORROW
  • Peter Francis James (Guiding Light, Oz) will appear on the upcoming midseason spinoff of Arrow and The Flash. He will play Dr. Aldus Boardman, a professor who has devoted his life to researching Hawkgirl (Ciara Renée), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) and their link to Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).
OWN's GREENLEAF
  • Oprah Winfrey has been confirmed to play a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Keith David and Lynn Whitfield. She will play Mavis McCready, the sister of Lady Mae Greenleaf (Whitfield) and a close confidante of Grace Greenleaf (Merle Dandridge). Additionally, Clement Virgo has signed on to direct the first episode.
NBC's THE PLAYER
  • Eric Roberts (The Expendables, Suits) will pop up in the October 8 episode of the drama starring Philip Winchester and Wesley Snipes. He will play Pauly Agostino, an imprisoned ex-crime boss who is being racked by pain but still holds a lot of sway with the underworld he used to command.
