Casting News - Kristoffer Polaha Books Recurring Role on 'Castle'; Taye Diggs to Appear on 'Rosewood'; Plus 4 More Updates!

ABC's Castle; CBS' CSI: Cyber & Supergirl; El Rey's From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series; FOX's Rosewood; and Showtime's Dice.






ABC's CASTLE
  • Kristoffer Polaha (Backstrom, Ringer) has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's eighth season. He will play Caleb Brown, an idealistic public defender whose criminal clients put him at odds with Beckett (Stana Katic) and the 12th Precinct.
FOX's ROSEWOOD
  • Taye Diggs (Private Practice, Murder in the First) has booked a recurring role on the hit drama's first season. He will play Dr. Mike Boyce, a world-renowned infectious disease doctor based in Miami and the longtime best friend of Dr. Beaumont Rosewood (Morris Chestnut). Boyce is brought in to consult on a case and catches the eye of Detective Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz), much to Rosewood's surprise.
CBS' CSI: CYBER
  • Matt Lanter (90210, Star-Crossed) will appear on an upcoming episode of the drama's second season. He will play an attractive hacker that lives his life through the Internet and builds relationships with the people whose lives he hacks into.
EL REY's FROM DUSK TILL DAWN: THE SERIES
  • Gary Busey (Dancing With the Stars) will appear alongside his son, Jake, in the penultimate episode of the drama's second season. He will play The Prospector, a determined and troubled miner.
SHOWTIME's DICE
  • The upcoming comedy starring Andrew Dice Clay has added Adrien Brody, Lorraine Bracco and Kevin Corrigan to its cast. Brody will play himself in one episode. Bracco will play guest star in two episodes as Toni, a Vegas overlord who owns Clay's gambling debts. Corrigan will play the regular role of Milkshake, Dice's best friend and right-hand man.
CBS' SUPERGIRL
  • Transporter: The Series star Chris Vance has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's first season. He will play Non, a former scientist in a league with the House of El. He is a brutal Kryptonian military officer who is sinister, powerful and angry. He's the antithesis of all things Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) stands for.
