CMT's STILL THE KING
- Joey Lauren Adams (Chasing Amy, Come Early Morning) has been cast as the female lead on the upcoming comedy series starring Billy Ray Cyrus. She will play Debbie Lynn Cook, a fiery and feisty single mother who lives with her unemployed younger boyfriend and teenage daughter. Her life is turned upside down when Vernon (Cyrus) unexpectedly crashes back into her life, 15 years after their one-night stand.
NBC's SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE
- Elizabeth Banks (Modern Family, Pitch Perfect 2) will make her hosting debut on the November 14 episode of the late night sketch comedy series. She will be joined by musical guest Disclosure.
CBS' BRAINDEAD
- Tony winner Nikki M. James (The Book of Mormon) has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Aaron Tveit. She will play Rochelle, a medical resident whose father died as the result of a mysterious infection. She and Laurel (Winstead) team up to learn what happened to her father, and protect others from the same fate.
CBS' NCIS
- Lindsay Wagner (The Bionic Woman) will appear on an upcoming episode of the drama's thirteenth season. She will play Agent Ellie Bishop's (Emily Wickersham) mother.
ABC's AGENT CARTER
- Resurrection alum Kurtwood Smith has booked a major recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He will play Vernon Masters, a veteran of the War Department with a keen understanding of how to work the system.
TNT's THE LAST SHIP
- Fernando Chien (The Accountant) and Dichen Lachman (The 100) have been cast in recurring roles on the drama's upcoming third season. Chien will play Peng, the new leader of post-plague China. Lachman will play Jesse, a helicopter pilot who lives off the grid.
NBC's CHICAGO MED
- Brennan Brown (Person of Interest, Beauty and the Beast) has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming drama series. He will play Dr. Sam Abrams, a cantankerous, irritable but brilliant neurosurgeon. He has no patience for young, cocky, privileged, hot-headed doctors who lack his old-school work ethic.
