Casting News - Amazon Sets January Premiere Date for 'Mad Dogs'; Meg Steedle to Appear on 'Nashville'; Plus 4 More Updates!

ABC's Nashville; Amazon's Mad Dogs; CBS' Madam Secretary; The CW's The Flash; HBO's Big Little Lies; and NBC's Aquarius.





ABC's NASHVILLE
  • Meg Steedle (Boardwalk Empire, The Mysteries of Laura) will appear in an upcoming episode of the drama's fourth season. She will play a single mom who Avery (Jonathan Jackson) has a very charming encounter with.
AMAZON's MAD DOGS
  • The online streaming service will release all 10 episodes of the upcoming drama created by Shawn Ryan and Cris Cole on Friday, January 22. The drama stars Steve Zahn, Michael Imperioli, Billy Zane, Romany Malco and Ben Chaplin. Guest appearances in the first season include Phil Davis, Maria Botto, Adria Tennor, Sutton Foster, Coby Bell and Allison Tolman.
HBO's BIG LITTLE LIES
  • Laura Dern (Enlightened) and Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation) will co-star on the upcoming miniseries starring Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Shailene Woodley. Dern will play Renata Klein, a powerful career woman and anti-bullying crusader who is at the center of schoolyard politics on and off the playground. Scott will play Ed Mackenzie, Madeline's (Witherspoon) stable and loving husband whose approach is to play it safe.
CBS' MADAM SECRETARY
  • Tony winner Kate Burton (Grey's Anatomy, Scandal) is set to appear in an upcoming episode of the drama's second season. She will play Maureen Ryan, the prickly and perpetually-irritated sister of Henry (Tim Daly). A married mother of three, she is always able to fill a room and takes her big personality wherever she goes.
THE CW's THE FLASH
  • Tone Bell (Truth Be Told, Bad Judge) has landed a recurring role on the drama's second season. He will play Scott Evans, the brash new editor at Central City Picture News. Devoted to hard journalism, Evans will push Iris (Candice Patton) and all of his reporters to dig deeper into their stories and report the truth about what's really happening in Central City.
NBC's AQUARIUS
  • Cameron Deane Stewart (Star-Crossed) has joined the drama's upcoming second season as a new series regular. He will play Tex Watson, a Texas high school honor student and athlete who crosses paths with Charles Manson (Gethin Anthony) while becoming consumed in the L.A. psychedelic, drug-dealing lifestyle.
