IFC Cancels 'Gigi Does It' After One Season

IFC has opted not to order any additional seasons of original comedy series Gigi Does It created by and starring David Krumholtz. The actor broke the news on Twitter today.

Krumholtz wrote: "#GigiDoesIt fans! Alas, there will be no season 2 of our little show. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR LAUGHTER!!! Upward..."

Gigi Does It starred Krumholtz as Gertrude Rotblum, aka Gigi, a 76-year-old grandmother who set out to experience everything she deprived herself of in her younger years. Ricky Mabe co-starred as Gigi's trusted male nurse sidekick.

Krumholtz executive produced with Tim Gibbons, Ben Newmark, Dan Newmark, Ricky Mabe and Zach Goldn. IFC and Grandma's House Entertainment produced the 8-episode season.

The first season averaged 102,000 total viewers and 42,000 in the Adults 18-49 demographic in Live+3 figures.
