HULU's CRUSHED
- The online streaming service has given a pilot order to single camera comedy Crushed - after Regina Hall (Scary Movie, Think Like a Man) signed on to play the female lead. Tina Gordon Chism wrote the pilot and will also direct. Chism is executive producing alongside Stephanie Allain Bray. C. Deneen Brown is a co-executive producer. Lionsgate Television will produce. The project centers on an African-American family who stumble into a successful wine business in Napa. It's a fish-out-of-water story that follows the family's unorthodox approach to wine making and their unique life style. Hall will play the mother of the family.
