  • Fargo star Bokeem Woodbine has been cast in the co-leading role on the drama pilot written by Joshua Zetumer. He will play Shannon, an ambitious former gang member-turned-successful hip-hop producer who is poised to break out of South Central but becomes the target of an LAPD detective.

Television, Kari's Logo Here and Here Comes Scrappy will produce. The project centers on Marty Schumacher, who coached his last club soccer team for 10 years and ultimately took them to the National Championships. He now has to start from scratch with a diverse group of 8-year-olds and their disparate parents.
  • The network has ordered a pilot for drama Zoobiquity based on the best-selling book by Barbara Natterson-Horowitz. Bones duo Jon Collier and Stephen Nathan will write the pilot. The pair will also executive produce with Spencer Medof. Natterson-Horowitz and Kathryn Bowers will serve as producers. 20th Century Fox Television will produce. The project is a light, unconventional medical procedural that follows the unlikely pairing of a successful, driven cardiologist as she risks career suicide by teaming with a socially challenged veterinarian who relates better to animals than people. They try to put aside their competitive natures to cure the incurable using a unique blend of cross-species medicine that's never been tried before.
