Casting News - 'Supergirl' and 'The Flash' to Crossover in March; Adam West to Visit 'The Big Bang Theory'; Plus 4 More Updates!

CBS' The Big Bang Theory & Supergirl; Freeform's Switched at Birth; History's Six; NBC's Taken; and Lifetime's Devious Maids.





HISTORY's SIX
  • Barry Sloane (Revenge) and Edwin Hodge (The Purge) have been cast on the upcoming drama series written by William and David Broyles. Sloane will play Joan "Bear" Graves, the recently appointed leader of SEAL Team Six. Hodge will play Robert Chase III, one of the seals-in-training who completes challenges quickly but makes a few rookie mistakes.
CBS' SUPERGIRL
  • The network is finally hosting a crossover between Supergirl and The CW's The Flash next month on March 28. In the episode, Grant Gustin will pay a visit to National City as Barry Allen aka The Flash. No additional details were made available about what will bring the two superheroes together.
FREEFORM's SWITCHED AT BIRTH
  • Gilles Marini will reprise his role as Angelo Sorrento, Bay and Daphne's deceased father, in the drama's upcoming 100th episode during its fifth season. No details were released about how he'll returning - considering his character was killed in a car accident in Season 3.
LIFETIME's DEVIOUS MAIDS
  • Carlos Ponce (Cristela) has landed a major recurring role on the dramedy's upcoming fourth season. He will play Ben, a handsome, slick, charming and mysterious manager of a major movie star.
CBS' THE BIG BANG THEORY
  • Adam West (Batman) will appear as himself in the veteran comedy's upcoming 200th episode. He will be joined by familiar guest stars John Ross Bowie, Christine Baranski, Sara Gilbert and Wil Wheaton in the landmark installment.
NBC's TAKEN
  • Emmy winner Alex Graves (The West Wing, Homeland) has been tapped to direct and executive produce the first episode of the upcoming drama series - a modern-day prequel to the film franchise of the same name.
