Casting News - Annabeth Gish to Recur on 'Scandal'; Taye Diggs Joins 'NCIS' for 300th Episode; Plus 3 More Updates!

  • Annabeth Gish (The X-Files, The Bridge) has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's fifth season. No details were immediately released about the character she will be playing.
  • Robert Baker will reprise his role as the late Dr. Charles Percy in the February 25 episode of the drama's twelfth season. In the episode, the evolution of April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson's (Jesse Williams) relationship is revealed through a series of flashbacks that date back to when they first met at Mercy West. Maya Stojan (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) will also appear in the episode as a patient Jackson has treated for years.
  • Taye Diggs (Private Practice, Murder in the First) will guest star in the drama's upcoming 300th episode. He will play Marine Gunnery Sergeant Aaron Davis, a Special Ops sniper who suffered traumatic injuries and PTSD after an ambush attack in Iraq. For the past six months, he has been at Walter Reed Medical Center, facing a slow but effective rehab that includes a cutting-edge music therapy program.
  • Adan Canto (The Following, Blood & Oil) is set to co-star on the upcoming drama series starring Kiefer Sutherland. He will play Aaron, an aggressive deputy Chief of Staff who advises Tom (Sutherland) after the attack and guns for a promotion.
  • Amber Coney (Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?) has landed a series regular role on the upcoming drama series. She will play Carolina "Cricket" Diaz, who likes to chirp and joins her old gang of camp friends as a counselor at Camp Clearwater.
