A&E's The Infamous; CBS' Training Day & What Goes Around Comes Around; and NBC's Sunset PPL.





CBS' TRAINING DAY
  • CBS is given a pilot order to drama Training Day - a reboot of the 2001 feature film of the same name. The project centers on an idealistic young African-American police officer who is appointed to an elite squad of the LAPD where is partnered with a seasoned, morally ambiguous Caucasian detective. Will Beall will write the pilot. Antoine Fuqua, who directed the film, will also direct the pilot. Beall and Fuqua will executive produce with Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and KristieAnne Reed. Warner Bros. Television, Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Fuqua Films will produce.
CBS' WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND
  • The network has also ordered a pilot for single camera comedy What Goes Around Comes Around written by Dan Kopelman. He will executive produce with Aaron Kaplan. Warner Bros. Television and Kapital Entertainment will produce. The project centers on two 40-something parents who were wild and reckless teenagers and now face their worst nightmare - raising three teenagers of their own.
A&E's THE INFAMOUS
  • Vanessa Bell Calloway (Shameless) has been cast on the drama pilot starring Bokeem Woodbine. She will play Ellie, Shannon's (Woodbine) mother, a gifted singer who once performed with James Brown but now drives a city bus.
NBC's SUNSET PPL
  • Julianna Guill (Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce) and Cass Bugge (The Brink) have landed regular roles on the comedy pilot written by Adriano Valentini and Aaron Colom. Guill will play Talia, a beautiful, courageous and intelligent East coast student of mathematics who abandons her thesis studies to pursue her dreams of becoming an actress. Bugge will play Mel, a trendy, flaky and often vulgar young woman who teaches stand-up at a local comedy club.
