NBC's CRUEL INTENTIONS
  • Taylor John Smith (American Crime) has been cast as the male lead on the drama pilot sequel to the hit film. Samantha Logan (The Fosters) has also been cast on the pilot today. Smith will play Bash Casey, the son of Sebastian Valmont and Annette Hargrove - played in the movie by Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon. Upon discovering his late father's legacy in a hidden journey, Bash is introduced to a world of sex, money, power and corruption he never could have imagined. Logan will play Cassidy, the spoiled daughter of Kathryn's husband, Pascal.
ABC's UNTITLED ADAM F. GOLDBERG & DAVID GUARACIO
  • Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg) has landed the lead role on the comedy pilot written by Adam F. Goldberg and David Guaracio. She will play Alice, a relationship "expert" with a successful PR firm representing pro athletes. After meeting the love of her life - a divorced father (Stephen Schneider) with three kids - she fears she doesn't have what it takes to make a serious relationship last, or the maternal instincts to be an even somewhat adequate "mom type person." But a new source of chaos emerges when her childhood imaginary friend (Mary) returns with her own opinion about what Alice should do. And since "Mary" represents Alice's deepest and darkest fears, her advice is simple: run. Also joining the cast today are Nicholas Coombe, Matreya Scarrwener and Erica Tremblay.
NBC's MIDNIGHT, TEXAS
  • Parenthood alum Sarah Ramos is returning to NBC with a co-starring role on the drama pilot written by Monica Owusu-Breen. She will play Creek, a girl next door beauty who works two jobs, a waitress at the local restaurant and behind the counter at the Gas and Go convenience store her dad owns. She is bright, funny and dreams of more but lives at home to protect her teen brother from their father who is oppressively strict.
FOX's PITCH

McRae will play Blip, an All-Star outfielder, who's as fleet of mouth as he is of foot. As Ginny's (Bunbury) only pre-existing friend, Blip serves as her big brother on the team and tries to make sure she feels at home. Holder will play Evelyne, Blip's wife who takes it upon herself to distract Ginny from the immense pressure she is under. Jo will play Eliot, an awkward but social media savvy manager brought on to Ginny's team to run her online presence now that she's exploded as a celebrity.
NBC's POWERLESS
  • Danny Pudi (Community), Alan Tudyk (Suburgatory) and Christina Kirk (A to Z) have joined the cast of the comedy pilot starring Vanessa Hudgens. Pudi will play Teddy, Emily's (Hudgens) best friend at work and her trusted confidante. He spends his days creating time-wasting pranks as a way to make their office just a little less "unsuper." Tudyk will play Del, Emily's new boss in the claims department who has been promoted because he's the owner's son. He is a power-mad disastrous dictator of a boss. Kirk will play Jackie, a fan of super heroes who has plastered her cubicle with beefcake shots of super guys. Del makes her his personal assistant, and she begins buckling under his unreasonable and impossible demands.
FOX's 24: LEGACY

AMAZON's JEAN-CLAUDE VAN JOHNSON
  • Jean-Claude Van Damme (The Expendables 2) has signed on to topline the cast of a new scripted comedy pilot for the online streaming service. Dave Callaham will write the script, and executive produce with Ridley Scott and David Zucker. Peter Atencio will direct. The project will star Van Damme as a version of himself - a famous actor and martial arts pro who comes out of retirement to resume his alter-ego: an undercover private contractor by the name of Jean-Claude Van Johsnon. The series will see Johnson's cover as the lead role in a reimagined action film version of Huckleberry Finn that lands him back in the midst of the danger he secretly always craves. It also brings him back into the orbit of Vanessa, his fellow operative and the love of his life that got away.
NBC's CHICAGO LAW
