NBC Renews 'Superstore' for Season 2

NBC has renewed its original comedy series Superstore for a second season, it was announced today by Jennifer Salke, President, NBC Entertainment.







"We're thrilled to renew a show that's incredibly funny and relatable, full of great characters brought to life by this incredible cast, writers and producers," said Salke. "After such a successful first season, we look forward to seeing more of the wonderful America Ferrera, Ben Feldman and the rest of this hilarious cast in season two."

Season to date in Live+7 figures, Superstore is averaging a 2.1 rating in the Adults 18-49 demographic and 6.9 million total viewers. This makes it NBC's highest rated first-year comedy in two years.

The comedy stars America Ferrera, Ben Feldman, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn, Nico Santos, Nichole Bloom and Mark McKinney.

Justin Spitzer created the series. He executive produces with director Ruben Fleischer, David Bernad, Gabe Miller and Jonathan Green. Superstore is produced by Universal Television, Spitzer Holding Company and The District.
