Casting News - Craig Robinson to Recur on 'Mr. Robot'; Jonathan Groff to Star in 'Mindhunter'; Plus 4 More Updates!

Amazon's Sneaky Pete; Discovery's Harley and the Davidsons; Lifetime's UnREAL; Netflix's Mindhunter; TNT's Murder in the First; and USA's Mr. Robot.




USA's MR. ROBOT
  • The Office alum Craig Robinson has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He will play Ray, a neighborhood local who reaches out to Elliot (Rami Malek) in his time of need.
AMAZON's SNEAKY PETE
  • Original series co-creator David Shore - who wrote the pilot from a story he co-penned with Bryan Cranston - has departed the upcoming series. He will be succeeded by Justified creator Graham Yost as executive producer and showrunner. Production was suppose to start in February but was delayed due to the change with the creative team. The drama stars Giovanni Ribisi, Marin Ireland, Margo Martindale, Peter Gerety, Libe Barer and Shane McRae.
TNT's MURDER IN THE FIRST
  • Michael Gaston (The Leftovers, Blindspot) has booked a series regular role on the drama's upcoming third season. He will play Fred Arkin, a warm family man who is a DUI defense attorney in a high-profile case.
DISCOVERY's HARLEY AND THE DAVIDSONS
  • Sleepy Hollow star Jessica Camacho has joined the cast of the upcoming miniseries starring Michiel Huisman. She will play Reya, a strong and fearless member of an early Harley-Davidson motorcycle club.
LIFETIME's UNREAL
  • Bruce Davison (The Fosters), Christopher Cousins (Breaking Bad) and Lindsay Musil (Scream) have been cast on the drama's upcoming second season. Davison will play Randy, a cowboy and musician from Quinn's (Constance Zimmer) past who has grown bitter and angry but is still close with her. Cousins will play Gary, the new president of the network. Musil will play Beth Ann, an Everlasting contestant from small-town Alabama who speaks her mind without a filter.
NETFLIX's MINDHUNTER
  • Looking and Hamilton star Jonathan Groff has been cast in a lead role on the upcoming drama series from director David Fincher. No details were immediately released about the character he will be playing. The drama centers around the hunt for infamous serial killers.
