CBS Sets Summer Premiere Dates for 'BrainDead,' 'American Gothic,' 'Zoo' & 'Big Brother'

A day after setting its finale dates for its current lineup, CBS has announced premiere dates for a number of its summer programming - including new seasons of Big Brother and Zoo as well as the series premieres of new scripted shows BrainDead and American Gothic.





Here's the full schedule of summer premiere dates:

Monday, June 13
        10-11PM - BrainDead (Series Premiere)

Wednesday, June 22
        8-10PM - Big Brother (Two-Hour Season 18 Premiere)
        10-11PM - American Gothic (Series Premiere)

Thursday, June 23
        9-10PM - Big Brother (Time Slot Premiere)

Sunday, June 26
        8-9PM - Big Brother (Time Slot Premiere)

Tuesday, June 28
        9-11PM - Zoo (Two-Hour Season 2 Premiere

Wednesday, June 29
        8-9PM - Big Brother (Time Slot Premiere)

Tuesday, July 5
        9-10PM - Zoo (Time Slot Premiere)


Created by The Good Wife's Robert and Michelle King, BrainDead follows a young fresh-faced Hill staffer getting her first job in Washington, D.C. and discovering two things: 1. The government has stopped working, and 2. alien spawn have come to Earth and eaten the brains of a growing number of Congressmen and Hill staffers.

BrainDead stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Aaron Tveit, Nikki M. James, Johnny Ray Gill, Danny Pino and Tony Shalhoub.


Created by Jane the Virgin's Corinne Brinkerhoff, American Gothic centers on a prominent Boston family that is attempting to redefine itself in the wake of a chilling discovery that links their recently deceased patriarch to a string of murders spanning decades, amid the mounting suspicion that one of them may have been his accomplice.
