CBS' WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND
- My Name is Earl alum Jason Lee has been tapped to play the lead role on the comedy pilot written by Dan Kopelman. He will play Kenny, a husband, father and owner of a hip music management company, who with his wife Robin raises three kids with the hopes that they don't make the same mistakes that they did.
NBC's CRUEL INTENTIONS
- Drop Dead Diva alum Kate Levering is set to take over the role of Annette Hargrove - played in the feature film by Reese Witherspoon - on the drama pilot continuation. In the prospective series, Annette is a beautiful, genuine, strong and good Christian woman for whom life has not been easy. She lives in the small town of Newton with her 17-year-old son Bash (Taylor John Smith) and her husband, Trevor. Very close to Bash, with whom she has a warm, close, playful relationship, Annette is rocked by Trevor's sudden death and Bash's discovery that his biological father is the billionaire hotel magnate Sebastian Valmont (played in the movie by Ryan Phillippe), who Annette had a scandalous relationship with when she was in high school. Annette's life starts to unravel when Bash goes to San Francisco to meet his birth family and Annette follows him, coming face to face with her former nemesis, Kathryn Merteuil (Sarah Michelle Gellar), and dealing with the scandalous fallout of her husband's death.
THE CW's UNTITLED DORIS EGAN PROJECT
- Peter Mark Kendall (The Americans, Eye Candy) has booked a regular role on the drama pilot written by Doris Egan. Additionally, Bharat Nalluri (The 100, The Player) has signed on to direct the pilot. Kendall will play Mason, a member of the Mars exploration team.
FOX's THE ENFORCERS
- Matt Oberg (The Comedians) has joined the cast of the comedy pilot starring Niecy Nash and Christine Woods. He will play Sweet Pete, a bit of an emotional roller coaster, he's the PR guy in the office whose job is to inform the public in a "cheerful" way that things like a drought could be the end of mankind. He's also the right-hand man to George (Ian Gomez), a job he takes quite seriously.
FX's LEGION
- The League star Katie Aselton will co-star on the drama pilot starring Dan Stevens, Aubrey Plaza and Jean Smart. She will play Amy, the practical older sister of David Haller (Stevens), who does her best to remain positive which proves difficult when her brother has spent years in and out of hospitals after being diagnosed as a schizophrenic.
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC's THE BLACK 22S
- The cable network has given a pilot order to drama The Black 22s written by Paul Guyot. He will executive produce with John Rogers, David Oyelowo, Jennifer Court and pilot director Bharat Nalluri. Kung Fu Monkey Productions will produce. The project is based on the true story of an African-American detective and one of America's first all-black police squads in St. Louis. The squad battled gangland killers of Prohibition and fought for justice during one of the most radically charged times in history in a city that continues to be a hot spot for racism and police brutality.
HULU's WHEN THE STREET LIGHTS GO ON
- Parenthood star Max Burkholder has been cast on the drama pilot written by Chis Hutton and Eddie O'Keefe. No details were immediately released about the character he will be playing.
FOX's A.P.B.
- Taylor Handley (Vegas, The O.C.) has landed a regular role on the drama pilot written by David Slack. He will play Officer Roderick Brandt, a Marine combat veteran turned cop who sometimes has difficulty making the distinction between the urban streets and the battlefield.
ABC's THE SECOND FATTEST HOUSEWIFE IN WESTPORT
- Newcomer Carly Hughes (Cabin in the Sky) has joined the cast of the comedy pilot starring Katy Mixon. She will play Angela, a hip, brutally honest woman who is going through a messy divorce.
NBC's SEBASTIAN
- Steve Talley (Hindsight, The 100) has booked a regular role on the comedy pilot starring Sebastian Maniscalco and Tony Danza. He will play Trevor, Chloe's husband, an attractive, charming and cocky frat guy who comes from a similar background as Sebastian (Maniscalco). The difference is while Sebastian would never take handouts from Lana's family, Trevor takes every single one.
ABC's UNTITLED HANNAH MACKAY & ED WEEKS PROJECT
- Andy Ridings (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) is set as the male lead on the comedy pilot written by Ed Weeks and Hannah Mackay. He will play Randall, Hilda's best friend, a neurotic straight male.
A&E's THE INFAMOUS
- Jahmil French (The Divide) will co-star on the drama pilot starring Bokeem Woodbine and Wilson Bethel. He will play a 17-year-old rapper from South Central LA torn between a life in music and a life in a gang.
CBS' SUPERIOR DONUTS
- Brian d'Arcy James (Spotlight, Smash) has been cast as the co-lead opposite Jermaine Fowler on the comedy pilot. He will play Arthur, the owner of a donut shop, a typically gruff, to-the-point Chicagoan and the patriarch to his loyal customers.
THE CW's FREQUENCY
- Anthony Ruivivar (Banshee, Southland) has joined the cast of the drama pilot starring Peyton List and Riley Smith. He will play Detective Stan Hope, a detective who served as Frank's (Smith) handler with the NYPD and managed his day-to-day undercover operation.
ABC's MODEL WOMAN
- Newcomer Madeline Blake has landed a regular role on the drama pilot written by Helen Childress. She will play Gemma, a model from a small town who becomes the new "it girl."
