SYFY's KRYPTON
- The cable network is finalizing a pilot order for drama Krypton, the long-gestating project from David S. Goyer. Damian Kindler (Sleepy Hollow) has boarded the project as executive producer and showrunner. He is providing some re-writes to the original script from Goyer and Ian Goldberg. Additionally, Colm McCarthy (Peaky Blinders) has signed on to direct. Warner Horizon Television and DC Comics will produce. Set two generations before Krypton's destruction, the project follows Superman's grandfather after the House of El is shamed and ostracized as he brings hope and equality to Krypton, turning a planet in disarray into one worthy of giving birth to the greatest superhero ever known.
