NBC Renews 'Grimm' for Season 6

NBC continues to lock down the majority of its schedule today by handing out a sixth season renewal to Grimm. The Friday night drama joins a list of renewals that includes The Blacklist, Blindspot, all three Chicago shows, SVU and Shades of Blue for NBC's schedule for the 2016-17 season.





"We absolutely love what our producers and cast have accomplished over the past five seasons," said Jennifer Salke, President, NBC Entertainment. "They have created a whole new world of creatures and have a truly devoted fan base. We can't wait to see what comes next."

The drama stars David Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner and Claire Coffee.

David Greenwalt, Jim Kouf and Stephen Carpenter created the series. Greenwalt and Kouf serve as executive producers with Sean Hayes, Todd Milliner and Norberto Barba. Universal Television and Hazy Mills Productions produce.

In Season 5, Grimm is averaging a 1.7 rating in the Adults 18-49 demographic and 6.4 million total viewers in the latest Live+7 statistics.
