Audience Network Renews 'Kingdom' for Season 3

DirecTV and AT&T's Audience Network has renewed its original drama series Kingdom for a third season, it was announced today.

Set in the intense world of mixed martial arts, Kingdom tells the story of the Navy St. gym and the fighters within it.

The drama stars Frank Grillo, Kiele Sanchez, Matt Lauria, Jonathan Tucker, Nick Jonas, Joanna Going and Natalie Martinez.

Byron Balasco created the series. Balasco Productions and Endemol Shine Group produce.

"I'm beyond grateful to AT&T and to Endemol Shine for allowing us to continue on," said Balasco. "I am in awe of this incredible cast and inspired by the craft and creativity of my crew. We love making the show and feel like we've only scratched the surface. We're already back to work. Scripts are being written. Blood is being shed."

The first season included 10 episodes while the second featured 20. It's currently unclear how many episodes will comprise the third season - or when they'll air.
