Casting News - Will Chase Lands Recurring Role on 'The Deuce'; Lotte Verbeek Returns to 'The Blacklist'; Plus 5 More Updates!

ABC's Designated Survivor & The Real O'Neals; CBS' NCIS: New Orleans; E!'s The Arrangement; HBO's The Deuce; History's Vikings; and NBC's The Blacklist.




HBO's THE DEUCE
  • Nashville alum Will Chase has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal. No details were immediately released about the character he will be playing.
NBC's THE BLACKLIST
  • Lotte Verbeek (Outlander, Agent Carter) will reprise her role as Katerina Rostova, Liz's (Megan Boone) mother, in at least two episodes of the drama's upcoming fourth season. She appeared in last season's "Cape May" as a vision to Red (James Spader) in the wake of Liz's apparent death. It's currently unclear how she'll return for the new season.
ABC's THE REAL O'NEAL
  • Ramona Young (Wanderers) has landed a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming second season. She will play Allison, Kenny's (Noah Galvin) new lesbian friend. In the Season 2 premiere, Allison and Kenny attempt to start an LGBT club at the school.
ABC's DESIGNATED SURVIVOR
  • American Gothic star Virginia Madsen has booked a major recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Kiefer Sutherland. She will play Kimble Hookstraten, the other Designated Survivor during the State of the Union address - but for the rival political party. A sharply intelligent and politically astute conservative Congresswoman, she makes it clear that. in the aftermath of the Capitol attack, she supports President Kirkman's (Sutherland) authority as the country's new Commander in Chief, until her true agenda is revealed and she emerges as his chief political rival.
HISTORY's VIKINGS
  • Adam Copeland (Haven) has joined the drama's upcoming fifth season in a recurring role. He will play Ketill Flatnose, a fierce and brave warrior chosen by Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård) to be one of the leaders of the Viking party traveling to Iceland to set up a community there.
E!'s THE ARRANGEMENT
  • Brit Morgan (True Blood, Graceland) has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Christine Evangelista and Josh Henderson. She will play Daisy Parson, an uncompromising independent filmmaker who meets Megan (Evangelista) while showing her film at the Venice Film Festival.
CBS' NCIS: NEW ORLEANS
  • Zoe McLellan will exit the hit drama series ahead of its upcoming third season. Her departure was a creative decision as her character, Special Agent Meredith "Merri" Brody, had become compromised in the Season 2 finale. She has been with the series ever since the backdoor pilot that aired on NCIS.
