Netflix Renews 'Bloodline' for Season 3

Netflix has renewed its original drama series Bloodline for a third season, it was announced today. Production on the 10 episode season will begin later this year for a debut in 2017.

In its second season, the drama starred Kyle Chandler, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini, Norbert Leo Butz, Jacinda Barrett, Jamie McShane, Enrique Murciano, Katie Finneran, Andrea Riseborough, John Leguizamo and Sissy Spacek.

Todd A. Kessler, Glenn Kessler and Daniel Zelman created the series. They executive produce with Michael Morris, David Manson, Mark A. Baker and Chris Mundy. Sony Pictures Television and KZK Productions produce.

There had been some uncertainty on whether or not Bloodline would be renewed for a third season. The drama is set in the Florida Keys and is actually shot on location. For the first two seasons, it has benefited from Florida's tax incentives program. But this year, the state legislature voted against replenishing the funds so the third season will likely cost more should production continue in Florida.
