Trimming appears to be the new cancellation for the broadcast networks again this fall. The new season still hasn't had any official cancellations. But now, ABC is trimming the episode order for Notorious from 13 to 10.
The drama stars Piper Perabo, Daniel Sunjata, Sepideh Moafi, Kate Jennings Grant, Ryan Guzman, Kevin Zegers, J. August Richards and Aimee Teegarden.
Josh Berman and Allie Hagan co-created the drama inspired by the lives of criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos and cable news producer Wendy Walker. They executive produce with Michael Engler, Kenny Meiselas, Brian Gersh, Jeff Kwatinetz and Josh Barry. ABC Studios and Sony Pictures Television produce.
The series premiered on Thursday, September 22 at 9/8c. in between established hits Grey's Anatomy and How to Get Away With Murder. It replaced Scandal on the schedule in order to accommodate Kerry Washington's pregnancy. However, the new drama opened to only a 1.1 rating in the key Adults 18-49 demographic and 5.394 million total viewers. Those numbers have only continued to fall in the weeks since. The most recent episode on October 20 was seen by 3.885 million viewers and posted a 0.9 rating.
