Casting News - October 3, 2016

Amazon's The Man in the High Castle; FOX's Empire; Starz's Outlander; and Syfy's Channel Zero.

SYFY's CHANNEL ZERO: THE NO-END HOUSE
  • John Carroll Lynch (American Horror Story) has been cast on the anthology series' upcoming second season. He will play John Sleator, Margot's (Amy Forsyth) father whose whole world is his family. Below the surface though, he is a troubled and complicated man.
AMAZON's THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE
  • Tzi Ma (24, Hell on Wheels) has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He will play General Onoda, an intelligent, nuanced and excellent soldier from a working-class background. He is a big personality with a large appetite for life and enjoys his women, food and drink - and can have a temper too. He has a history with Trade Minister Tagomi (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) and is depending on his support and connections.
FOX's EMPIRE
  • Kirk "Sticky Fingaz" Jones (The Night Of) has landed a recurring role on the drama's third season. He will play Brikk, a menacing MC known for his vicious and biting lyrics. His rhymes - often described as "precision-sharp, killer content armed with intention and purpose" - not only garnered Brikk his notorious reputation, but those "killer" rhymes become indispensable to Lucious (Terrence Howard) when dealing with new enemies.
STARZ's OUTLANDER
  • Newcomer Lauren Lyle (Broken, Holby City) has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming third season. She will play Marsali, Laoghaire's (Nell Hudson) high-spirited daughter. She has a rebellious and romantic mind of her own. She knows what she wants and goes after it - reputation and propriety be damned.
