FOX Gives Full Season Order to 'Lethal Weapon'

FOX has made its first full-season pickup of the new season. The broadcast network has ordered five additional episodes of Lethal Weapon - bringing its total order to 18 episodes for its first season.

"Lethal Weapon delivers an explosive and wildly entertaining core relationship between two cops, with dynamic performances by Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford, surrounded by cinematic action, endearing humor and true heart," said David Madden, Fox Entertainment President. "Matt Miller, McG, Dan Lin and Jennifer Gwartz have done a tremendous job on this show, which has proven to be a self-starter and solid companion for Empire. We are thrilled to add these episodes to Lethal Weapon's first season."

The drama stars Damon Wayans Sr., Clayne Crawford, Jordana Brewster, Keesha Sharp, Johnathan Fernandez and Kevin Rahm.

Matt Miller developed the series based on the film franchise of the same name. He executive produces with McG, Dan Lin and Jennifer Gwartz. Warner Bros. Television, Lin Pictures and Good Session Productions produce.
