Casting News - 'Hamilton's Javier Muñoz to Appear on 'Quantico'; 'Billions' Adds Eric Bogosian; Plus 8 More Updates!

ABC's Quantico; The CW's Arrow & iZombie; Epix's Get Shorty; FOX's Sleepy Hollow; FX's Baskets & Feud; HBO's The Young Pope; Hulu's The Mindy Project; and Showtime's Billions.




ABC's QUANTICO
  • Javier Muñoz (Hamilton) and Nick Westrate (Turn: Washington's Spies) will appear in an upcoming episode of the drama's second season. Muñoz will play Gabriel Carrera, vice consul at a consulate in Washington, D.C. Westrate will play Robbie, Gabriel's husband who also works at the consulate. In the episode, they come into contact with some of the main recruits, and soon wish they hadn't.
THE CW's ARROW
  • Juliana Harkavy (The Walking Dead, Constantine) has booked a recurring role on the drama's fifth season. She will play Tina Boland, a detective from Central City who is brash, tactful, tough, speaks her mind and isn't the easiest person to impress. She also has a problem with vigilantes like the Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) and his new team of recruits.
THE CW's IZOMBIE
  • Andrew Caldwell (Transformers) has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming third season. He will play Harley Jones, a good ole boy, anti-government extremist who loves his guns. He seems like a chatty, affable guy when he's chatting with Liv (Rose McIver) and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) at the shooting range, where he's practice shooting at zombie targets. He makes no secret of his hatred of zombies or the fact that it's on his bucket list to kill a few.
SHOWTIME's BILLIONS
  • Eric Bogosian (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) has joined the drama's upcoming second season in a recurring role. He will play Lawrence Boyd, who runs the investment bank Spartan-Ives and is one of the most highly respected figures in the world of finance.
HBO's THE YOUNG POPE
  • The premium cable network has announced that the new drama from Paolo Sorrentino will premiere on Sunday, January 15 and air episodes on Sundays and Mondays at 9/8c. The first season includes 10 episodes. The new series stars Jude Law, Diane Keaton, Silvio Orlando, Scott Shepherd, Cécile de France, Javier Cámara, Ludivine Sagnier, Toni Bertorelli and James Cromwell.
HULU's THE MINDY PROJECT
  • Ryan Hansen (Veronica Mars) has been cast in an upcoming episode of the comedy's fifth season. In the episode, Mindy (Mindy Kaling) falls asleep after a tiff at work and wishing she were a white man. When she wakes up, it's in the body of handsome, blonde, white doctor Michael Lancaster (Hansen), who allows Mindy a day to experience the world through his lens.
EPIX's GET SHORTY
  • Sean Bridgers, Lidia Porto, Megan Stevenson, Goya Robles, Lucy Walters and Carolyn Dodd will round out the main cast of the upcoming drama series. Bridgers will play Louis, Miles' (Chris O'Dowd) partner within the organization. Porto will play Amara, the godmother of a Nevada crime ring. Stevenson will play April, an attractive and ambitious studio executive. Robles will play Yago, Amara's dangerous nephew. Walters will play Katie, Miles' wife from whom he is separated. Dodd will play Emma, Miles and Katie's 12-year-old daughter.
FX's FEUD
  • Molly Price (The Knick, The Path) has joined the cast of the upcoming anthology starring Jessica Lange, Susan Sarandon and Catherine Zeta-Jones. She will play Harriet, Robert Aldrich's (Alfred Molina) wife.
FX's BASKETS
  • The hit comedy starring Zach Galifianakis and Emmy winner Louie Anderson will return for its 10-episode second season on Thursday, January 19 at 10/9c.
FOX's SLEEPY HOLLOW
  • Kamar de los Reyes (Salt, Shooter) has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fourth season. He will play Jobe, the burly bodyguard for Malcolm Dreyfuss (Jeremy Davies). He is the heavy who takes care of people who stand in the way of Malcolm's big plans.
