Bravo's Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce; CBS All Access' The Good Fight; Freeform's The Fosters; Netflix's Altered Carbon & Narcos; Starz's Outlander; and Syfy's The Expanse & The Magicians.
STARZ's OUTLANDER
- Newcomers Hannah James (Mercy Street) and Tanya Reynolds (Fanny Lye Deliver'd) have been cast on the drama's upcoming third season. James will play Geneva, the eldest Dunsany daughter who is as beautiful as she is headstrong. Yet she's also petulant, spoiled and demanding of the servants at their home. Geneva's accustomed to getting exactly what she wants when she wants it. Underneath however she has a vulnerability due to her sheltered life. Reynolds will play Isobel, Geneva's younger sister who is warm, friendly and genuine. Though more plain than her sister, Isobel is inherently more likable and compassionate towards others.
CBS ALL ACCESS' THE GOOD FIGHT
- Zach Grenier and Jerry Adler are set to reprise their Good Wife roles as guest stars on the upcoming spinoff starring Christine Baranski and Cush Jumbo. They play David Lee and Howard Lyman respectively, both partners at the former firm. Both will appear in the series premiere of the new drama.
BRAVO's GIRLFRIENDS' GUIDE TO DIVORCE
- The hit drama will return for its third season on Wednesday, January 11 at 10/9c., it was announced today. The new season stars Lisa Edelstein, Beau Garrett, Necar Zadegan, Paul Adelstein, Alanna Ubach and Retta.
SYFY's THE EXPANSE and THE MAGICIANS
- The cable network has announced premiere dates for the second seasons of The Magicians and The Expanse today. The Magicians will return on Wednesday, January 25 at 9/8c. and The Expanse will premiere on Wednesday, February 8 at 10/9c. with a double-episode premiere.
FREEFORM's THE FOSTERS
- Shi Ne Nielson (Chasing Life, Murder in the First) has landed a recurring role on the drama's fourth season. She will play Kate O'Brien, a very sharp and extremely capable public defender. Professional and caring, she is one of Stef's (Teri Polo) friends. She's regarded as one of the best public defenders in the department.
NETFLIX's NARCOS
- Andrea Londo (Faking It, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders) has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming third season. She will play Maria, a young and beautiful former Colombian beauty queen who is clever and knows how to survive.
NETFLIX's ALTERED CARBON
- Byron Mann (Hell on Wheels, Arrow) has joined the upcoming drama in a recurring role. He will play O.G. Kovacs, the last of the legendary intergalactic warriors known as Envoys. He is a man who has the killing instinct of a soldier along with the moral center of a freedom fighter. He has the razor sharp mind of a master strategist, combat skills that verge on the superhuman but when he loses his temper people die.
