ABC's Ten Days in the Valley; Amazon's The Man in the High Castle; Bravo's Imposters; CBS All Access' Star Trek: Discovery; and Discovery's Manifesto.





DISCOVERY's MANIFESTO
  • Paul Bettany (Avengers: Age of Ultron) has been cast in a lead role on the upcoming drama created by Andrew Sodroski. He will play Ted Kaczynski, also known as the "Unabomber." The first season focuses on FBI Agent Jim "Fitz" Fitzgerald, a specialized linguist who challenged old-school ways with a radical approach to intelligence gathering. His unconventional means brought the Unabomber to justice after a near 20-year manhunt when he discovered that the key to unlocking his true identity could be found in the language of "The Manifesto," a detailed account of some of Kaczynski's plots.
CBS ALL ACCESS' STAR TREK: DISCOVERY
  • Anthony Rapp (Rent) and Doug Jones (Hellboy) have joined the cast of the upcoming drama series. Rapp will play Lt. Stamets, an astromycologist, fungus expert and Starfleet Science Officer aboard the Starship Discovery. Jones will play Lt. Saru, a Starfleet Science Officer and a new alien species to the Star Trek universe.
BRAVO's IMPOSTERS
  • The drama formerly called My So Called Wife has a new title - Imposters - and a premiere date - Tuesday, February 7 at 10/9c. The new scripted series stars Inbar Lavi, Stephen Bishop, Rob Heaps, Parker Young, and Marianne Rendón, with guest star Uma Thurman.
AMAZON's THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE
  • Stephen Root (Office Space, Brooklyn Nine-Nine) will play the title character on the drama's upcoming second season. Details about how the Man in the High Castle will factor into the story in the new season are being kept under wraps.
ABC's TEN DAYS IN THE VALLEY
  • Erika Christensen (Parenthood), Felix Solis (The Family) and Kick Gurry (Tangle) will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Kyra Sedgwick. Christensen will Ali, Jane's (Sedgwick) younger, bossier sister, a capable and pragmatic psychologist who is currently undergoing fertility treatments with her journalist husband, Tom. Solis will play David Gomez, who presides over the important LAPD Detective Bureau with the decisiveness and confidence of an oligarch. Gurry will play Pete, a charismatic and unpredictable music producer who is Jane's ex and the father of her 8-year-old daughter, Lake.
