The CW has ordered an additional four episodes for the second season of Legends of Tomorrow. The order today brings the season total to 17 episodes.
The second season stars Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh, Amy Pemberton, Dominic Purcell, Matt Letscher, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Nick Zano.
Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and Phil Klemmer developed the series - a spinoff of Arrow and The Flash. They executive produce with Chris Fedak and Sarah Schechter. Warner Bros. Television, DC Entertainment and Berlanti Productions produce.
The additional episode order today means The CW will have a busy midseason schedule. The network still has new seasons of The Originals, iZombie, The 100 and Reign to slot on its schedule in the next few months as well as the series debut of new drama Riverdale.
