Casting News - Scoot McNairy, Michael Stuhlbarg and Fred Melamed Join 'Fargo'; 'The Detour' Returns in February

  • Michael Stuhlbarg, Scoot McNairy, Shea Whigham, Karan Soni, Fred Melamed and Thomas Mann have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming third season. Stuhlbarg will play Sy Feltz, Emmit's (Ewan McGregor) right hand man and consigliere. McNairy will play Maurice LeFay, a stoner with a criminal past. Whigham will play Moe Dammick, the chief of police of Meeker County. Soni will play Dr. Homer Gilruth, a scientist. Melamed will play Howard Zimmerman, a mover and a shaker with a knack for spinning a yarn and making a profiti. Mann will play Thaddeus Mobley, an award-winning science fiction author.
  • The hit comedy created by Jason Jones and Samantha Bee will return for its second season on Tuesday, February 21. The new season stars Jones, Natalie Zea, Ashley Gerasimovich, Liam Carroll and Daniella Pineda. Guest stars for the second season include Bee, James Cromwell, John Oliver, Laura Benanti, Jeffrey Vincent Parise and Max Casella.
