Casting News - Thomas Lennon to Play Leo Getz on 'Lethal Weapon'; Chris Noth Joins 'Manifesto'; Plus 2 More Updates!

CBS' MacGyver; Discovery's Manifesto; FOX's Lethal Weapon; and NBC's Midnight, Texas.

  • Meredith Eaton (NCIS, Boston Legal) has joined the cast of the hit drama as a new series regular. She will replace Sandrine Holt, who is departing the cast. Eaton will play Matty Webber, the new director of operations at the Phoenix Foundation and a legend in Covert Ops. Everyone is excited to meet Matty, except for Jack (George Eads), who worked under her for 18 months while on assignment in South America. Matty is known for being able to make anyone, including the director of the NSA, cry. Holt's final episode aired on January 6 while Eaton's first will be on January 13.
  • The Odd Couple star Thomas Lennon is set to play Leo Getz - the character played by Joe Pesci in the movies - in an upcoming episode of the drama's first season. On the drama, Leo Getz is an ambulance-chasing lawyer who looks to squeeze every drop out of each petty crime. He will clash with Murtaugh (Damon Wayans Sr.) and Riggs (Clayton Crawford) in the February 15 episode.
  • Chris Noth (The Good Wife) and Keisha Castle-Hughes (Game of Thrones) have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Paul Bettany and Sam Worthington. Noth will play Don Ackerman, the Bay Area Divisional Head of the FBI who supervised the Unabomber Task Force. Castle-Hughes will play Tabby, a street agent who partners with FBI Agent Jim "Fitz" Fitzgerald (Worthington).
  • Bob Jesser (Lemonade Mouth) has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama based on the book series of the same name. He will play Shawn Lovell, Creek's (Sarah Ramos) protective father.
