Amazon Picks Up 10 Episodes of Anthology 'Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams' from Bryan Cranston

Amazon has picked up the 10-episode first season of anthology series Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams. The show was originally commissioned by Channel 4 in the UK in May 2016.






Each episode of Electric Dreams will be a stand-alone based on Dick's short stories as adapted by a writers room made up of British and American writers. 

Ronald D. Moore (Outlander) and Michael Dinner (Justified) developed the series. They executive produce with Bryan Cranston (who will also appear in one episode), Maril Davis, James Degus, Isa Dick Hackett, Kalen Egan, Christopher Tricarico, David Kanter, Matt DeRoss, Lila Rawlings and Marigo Kehoe. Sony Pictures Television, Tall Ship Productions, Rooney McP Productions, Moonshot Entertainment, Electric Shepherd Productions, Anonymous Content and Left Bank Pictures produce.

In addition to Moore and Dinner, the writers for the first season also include Tony Grisoni, Jack Thorne, Matthew Graham, David Farr, Dee Rees and Travis Beacham.
