AMC's Fear the Walking Dead; CBS' Salvation; Hulu's Casual; and National Geographic's Genius.





CBS' SALVATION
  • Charlie Rowe (Red Band Society) and Jacqueline Byers (Roadies) will star in the upcoming drama created by Liz Kruger and Craig Shapiro. Rowe will play Liam, a whip-smart MIT grad student who makes a staggering discovery: an asteroid is just six months away from colliding with Earth. He teams with a tech billionaire and low-level Pentagon official to launch a secret project to save the planet - but he must keep it a secret from the ones he loves. Byers will play Jillian, an aspiring sci-fi recruited to work in a think tank on a theoretical project about saving humanity, a project that might prove to be all too real.
HULU's CASUAL
  • Jamie Chung (Gotham, Once Upon a Time) has been cast in a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming third season. She will play Tina, who has the self-confidence of a pretty, debt-free, part-time freelance artist whose parents bought her a house.
AMC's FEAR THE WALKING DEAD
  • Emma Caulfield (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) will appear on the drama's upcoming third season. No details were immediately released about the character she will be play or how many episodes she'll appear in.
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC's GENIUS
  • Grey's Anatomy alum T.R. Knight has booked a recurring role on the upcoming anthology series starring Geoffrey Rush. He will play J. Edgar Hoover, the first Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the United States. Under Hoover's direction, the FBI amassed an enormous file on Albert Einstein (Rush) in an attempt to prove that he was a "subversive" and a secret Communist. He became focused on ruining Einstein, developing a personal vendetta against the famous scientist following incidents in which Hoover perceived that Einstein had humiliated the U.S. government.
