ABC's UNTITLED MARC CHERRY PROJECT
- Haven star Emily Rose has been cast on the drama pilot starring Reba McEntire. She will play Vonda Jean, the county coroner for Oxblood, Kentucky and a former pageant runner-up.
FOX's UNTITLED MATT NIX PROJECT
- Jamie Chung (Once Upon a Time, Gotham) has joined the cast of the drama pilot written by Matt Nix. She will play Clarice Fong aka Blink, who is sarcastic, lively and a bit of a tomboy. Her naturally strong exuberance has taken a hit after a sudden and traumatic upheaval of her life. As she adjusts to the new people and places that are suddenly "home," she is slowly becoming herself again.
NBC's FOR GOD AND COUNTRY
- Anne Heche (Men in Trees, Hung) will play the female lead on the drama pilot starring Mike Vogel. She will play Patricia, the head of operations for the Defense Intelligence Agency. She commands the respect of someone who holds such a high-pressured position.
NBC's UNTITLED KOURTNEY KANG PROJECT
- Paula Abdul will play herself in the comedy pilot written by Kourtney Kang. The project is based on Kang's life and explores what it's like to grow up as the only girl in the only mixed race family in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The young lead (Isabella Russo) will deal with real-world issues like race and gender while never losing focus of her life goal - to become a Laker Girl like her idol, Paula Abdul. Should the pilot be picked up to series, Abdul will continue to appear as a series regular.
CBS' THE GET
- Emmy winner Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond) is returning to CBS with a starring role on the drama pilot written by Bridget Carpenter. He will play Bill, a hardworking reporter who has spent his life working up to the position of executive producer at The Get.
THE CW's SEARCHERS
- From Dusk Till Dawn star Zane Holtz has been cast as the male lead on the drama pilot written by Jason Rothenberg. He will play Cooper, a brilliant tech innovator and former soldier who has accepted his parents' deaths. But all that changes when his younger sister Fable, drags him on a dangerous mission to learn what truly happened to them 10 years ago.
ABC's CHARLIE FOXTROT
- Devious Maids star Ana Ortiz is set as the female lead on the comedy pilot starring Jason Biggs. She will play Angelina Torres, a well-meaning, fierce single mother who believes in putting her kids first, even if that means crossing a few lines.
FX's MAYANS MC
- John Ortiz (Luck, Togetherness) will co-star on the drama pilot spinoff of Sons of Anarchy. He will play Esai "Taino" Osorio, President of Mayans MC, Santo Padre Charter. A Mexi-Rican, born in the Bronx, then sent to Oakland to live with his cousin, Marcus Alvarez, Mayans MC founder and National President. Like his cousin, he is as smart as he is deadly.
