ABC's UNTITLED MARC CHERRY PROJECT
- Jack Coleman (Heroes) and Ryan McPartlin (Chuck) will co-star on the drama pilot starring Reba McEntire. Coleman will play Deke Adair, Ruby's (McEntire) ruggedly handsome ex-husband who is now married to Ruby's former best friend, Randa (Amanda Detmer). He is a good and decent man who feels badly for the pain he has caused Ruby, but is also honest about the anger he feels towards her. McPartlin will play Valentine French, the slick and handsome mayor of small town Oxblood, Kentucky.
NBC's GOOD GIRLS
- Episodes star Kathleen Rose Perkins - who has also been recurring on USA's Colony and CBS' Code Black - has been cast in the lead role on the drama pilot written by Jenna Bans. She will play Beth, a meek and frazzled mother of four who is starting to realize that she got the short end of the stick. She quickly discovers that her husband, Dean, has been unfaithful and, fed up with her life, decides that it's time to stop playing it safe. She then robs a supermarket with her best friend, Ruby, and her younger sister, Annie. The robbery unveils Beth's new, fierce side.
ABC's JALEN VS. EVERYBODY
- Anna Maria Horsford (The Bold and the Beautiful) and Marla Gibbs (The Jeffersons) have booked series regular roles on the comedy pilot starring Jalen Rose. Horsford will play Moms, Jalen's (Rose) mother). Gibbs will play Grammie, Jalen's grandmother. Put together, smart and meddlesome, they both keep a close tab on Jalen's life, and weigh in regularly, critiquing his ESPN shows and his personal life.
CBS' 9J, 9K AND 9L
- Matt Murray (Eyewitness, Kevin From Work) has landed a series regular role on the comedy pilot starring Mark Feuerstein. He will play Nick, the smooth, confident doorman of Josh's (Feuerstein) apartment building.
