CBS' DISTEFANO
  • CBS has ordered a pilot for hybrid comedy Distefano written by Chris Distefano, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas. Bays and Thomas executive produce with Pam Fryman, who has signed on to direct. Distefano will co-executive produce with Brian Bockrath. Sony Pictures Television, CBS Television Studios and Bays-Thomas Productions produce. Inspired by the comedy of Distefano, the project centers on Izzy and Chris (Distefano), two 20-somethings raising their newborn daughter and merging their meddling families - one Puerto Rican, one Italian.
CBS' LIVING BIBLICALLY
  • The network has given a pilot order to multi-camera comedy Living Biblically based on the book The Year of Living Biblically by A.J. Jacobs. Patrick Walsh wrote the pilot. He executive produces with Johnny Galecki, Spencer Medof and Andrew Haas. Warner Bros. Television and Alcide Bava Productions produce. The project centers on a modern-day man who, at a crossroads in his life, decides to live life according to the Bible.
NBC's REDLINERS
  • NBC has handed a pilot order to drama Redliners based on the short stories by Charlaine Harris. Kelly Sue DeConnick and Shaun Cassidy wrote the pilot. They executive produce with David Janollari. Universal Television and David Janollari Entertainment produce. The project centers on a pair of former operatives who get reactivated and drawn into a larger conspiracy while attempting to maintain their undercover lives.
