ABC's SALAMANDER
  • Incorporated alum Allison Miller has been cast as the female lead on the drama pilot written by Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. She will play Nora, a sharply observant Ivy League professional whose sky-high IQ has led her to become a psychiatrist on the staff of Homeland Security.
ABC's DECEPTION
  • Galavant star Vinnie Jones has joined the cast of the drama pilot starring Jack Cutmore-Scott. He will play Gunter Gastafsen, who is hailed as the "world's greatest illusion builder."
SYFY's HAPPY!
  • Patrick Fischler (Twin Peaks), Zabryna Guevara (Gotham) and Ritchie Coster (Luck) will co-star on the drama pilot starring Christopher Meloni. Fischler will play Smoothie, a well-dressed mob enforcer and sardonic soulless torturer who claims to take a "New Age" approach to his work. Vicious, lacking in empathy and capable of holding long grudges, he is thin, dapper and fastidious. Guevara will play Amanda Hansen, a single mom facing every mother's worst nightmare; the disappearance of her young daughter. Facing an official cover-up, and dragged into a cruel conspiracy, she must overcome a history of depression and anxiety to find within herself the strength and resources she'll need to go up against a seemingly unbeatable foe. Coster will play Leonardo Scaramucci aka Mr. Blue, the lead villain whose wealth and status as a legitimate businessman in the wine import trade support an increasingly profitable and highly illegal sideline.
ABC's LAS REINAS
  • John Corbett (Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, Parenthood) has booked a series regular role on the drama pilot starring Daniella Alonso. He will play Lt. Donald Worden, Alex's (Alonso) former partner and her mentor. A great detective in his own right, he taught her everything he knows, and he understands how dangerous it is for her to reconnect with her grandmother (Sonia Braga), who is the head of the largest crime family in Miami, in order to solve the case of a missing girl.
CBS' UNTITLED BEN CAVELL PROJECT
  • Bates Motel star Max Thieriot has landed a lead role on the drama pilot written by Ben Cavell. He will play Clay, a Navy SEAL millennial, who's extremely capable but his easy confidence and swagger hides a deep insecurity.
NBC's DRAMA HIGH
  • Rosie Perez (Fearless) and Rarmian Newton (The Family) are set as series regulars on the drama pilot written by Jason Katims. Perez will play Tracey, the high energy with a no-holds-barred mouth drama school teacher and a former high school theater person who is finding someone else with passion and vision can still inspire her. Newton will play Maashous Evers, a mysterious, independent and handsome student from a broken home who works as the lighting technician on all the school's drama projects.
FOX's THE PASSAGE
  • Production on the drama pilot written by Liz Heldens and to be directed by Marcos Siega has been pushed back to a Summer 2017 start. FOX made the decision today based on the scope of the project which will need a longer lead time as it includes an elaborate production and visual effects. No actors are currently attached to the pilot.
CBS' REAL LIFE
  • Brenda Song (Pure Genius, Dads) will co-star on the comedy pilot starring Rebecca Rittenhouse. She will play Lauren, Nora's (Rittenhouse) best friend and roommate.
CBS' UNTITLED JENNY LUMET PROJECT
  • Sleepy Hollow alum Zach Appelman has joined the cast of the drama pilot written by Jenny Lumet. He will play Webb, who's extremely alert, sees things with a unique straightforward perspective, and is the one who challenges Naomi's thinking.
ABC's THE GOOD DOCTOR
  • Chuku Modu (Game of Thrones, Snatch) has been cast on the drama pilot starring Freddie Highmore. He will play Dr. Jared Unger, a resident at the San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital.
