Just a few hours after renewing 12 Monkeys for a final season, Syfy has also handed out a renewal to original drama series The Expanse. The renewal is for a 13-episode third season, set to debut in 2018.
Based on the series of novels by James S.A. Corey, the drama stars Thomas Jane, Steven Strait, Cas Anvar, Dominique Tipper, Wes Chatham, Florence Faivre, Frankie Adams, Shawn Doyle and Shohreh Aghdashloo.
Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby developed the series. They executive produce with Naren Shankar, Broderick Johnson, Andrew Kosove, Sean Daniel, Sharon Hall and Jason F. Brown. Alcon Entertainment produces.
