THE CW NEW PILOT ORDER
  • WAYWARD SISTERS (Drama) - Spinoff of Supernatural with a backdoor pilot airing in its upcoming 13th season. Starring Kim Rhodes reprising her role as Sheriff Jody Mills. Other characters from the original series are set to make the transition as well, though no deals have been made. Written by Andrew Dabb and Robert Berens. Executive produced by Dabb, Berens, Robert Singer and Phil Sgriccia. Produced by Warner Bros. Television. Logline: Under the training and protection of Sheriff Jody Mills, a group of troubled young women - all of them orphaned by supernatural tragedy - emerge as a supreme monster-fighting force.
TNT's SNOWPIERCER
  • Roberto Urbina (Narcos) and Katie McGuinness (Roots) have been cast on the drama pilot starring Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs. Urbina will play avi, part of a polyamorous relationship that's reeling from a personal tragedy. He also works on The Breach Team, the train's equivalent of a fireman. McGuinness will play Josie McConnell, a strong, no-nonsense woman who lives in poverty at the tail of the train. She cares for her sick husband as well as their precocious son. She would do anything for her family, and when unforeseen circumstances turn their lives upside-down, she'll learn exactly how far she'll go.
