  • NIGHTFLYERS (Drama) - Based on the novel by George R.R. Martin. Written by Jeff Buhler. Executive produced by Buhler, Gene Klein, David Bartis, Doug Liman, Alison Rosenzweig, Michael Gaeta, Llyod Ivan Miller and Alice P. Neuhauser. Produced by Robert Jaffe. Production companies are Universal Cable Productions, Hypnotic Productions, Gaeta Rosenzweig Films and Lloyd Ivan Miller Productions. Logline: Set in the future on the eve of Earth's destruction, it follows a crew of explorers who journey on the most advanced ship in the galaxy, The Nightflyer, to intercept a mysterious alien spacecraft that might hold the key to their survival. As the crew nears their destination, they discover that the ship's artificial intelligence and never-seen captain may be steering them into deadly and unspeakable horrors deep in the dark reaches of space.
  • Newcomer Emily Rudd has been cast in the lead role on the drama pilot written by Brian Duffield. She will play Olive, a high school student, con artist, cat burglar and chameleon who's mature beyond her years. She is a savvy survivor who knows she can "get away with anything." A foster kid, she knows how to work the system, her tough exterior protecting a girl that's just looking for a home.
