He is an aggressively independent and set-in-his-ways loner who has built a life of solitude in a rural trailer park outside Los Angeles. He and Jimmy, both seeking seclusion from the real world, form an unlikely friendship, bonding over their love of whiskey and old TV shows.
NETFLIX's BOJACK HORSEMAN
  • The hit animated comedy created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg will return for its 12-episode fourth season on Friday, September 8. All episodes will drop on the streaming service at 12:01am P.T. The voice cast includes Will Arnett, Amy Sedaris, Alison Brie, Paul F. Tompkins and Aaron Paul.
AUDIENCE's HIT THE ROAD
  • Oscar winner Richard Dreyfuss (Madoff, Shots Fired) will guest star on the upcoming comedy starring Jason Alexander. He will play Ken's (Alexander) father, a gruff, grizzled, dysfunctional jerk of a dad who doesn't have a single kind word to say about his son.
SHOWTIME's MELROSE
  • Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight), Hugo Weaving (The Matrix) and Anna Madeley (The Crown) will co-star on the upcoming miniseries starring Benedict Cumberbatch. The series will encompass the saga of Patrick Melrose's (Cumberbatch) life, from his horribly abusive youth at the hands of his father (Weaving) and the mother (Leigh) who tacitly condones the behavior, to the outrageous playboy he becomes and the struggles he endures to defy the damage of his own past. Madeley will play Melrose's wife.
CRACKLE's THE OATH
  • J.J. Soria (Animal Kingdom, The Fosters) has landed a series regular role on the upcoming drama starring Sean Bean and Ryan Kwanten. He will play Officer Pete Ramos, partner and friend of Officer Steve Hammond (Kwanten), and second-in-command of the Ravens cop gang. He is streetwise with a nervous energy and a family man who is driven by the need to prove himself worthy of his wife, who comes from wealth and privilege.
HULU's CASTLE ROCK
  • Bill Skarsgård (Hemlock Grove, It) has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring André Holland and Melanie Lynskey. He will play a young man with an unusual legal problem.
AMAZON's THE DANGEROUS BOOK FOR BOYS
  • Erinn Hayes (Kevin Can Wait) and Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley) have booked lead roles on the upcoming comedy series. Additionally, Swoosie Kurtz (Mike & Molly) has been cast in a recurring role. Diamantopoulos will play the dual roles of Patrick and Terry, identical twin brothers. Patrick is a loving husband and enthusiastic father to his three boys who dies at the start of the series. Before he passed away, he wrote and crafted a life guidebook for his sons entitled "The Dangerous Book for Boys." Terry is a fun-loving, off-beat, well-meaning underachiever who comes to live at the family house after the death of his brother. He has a colorful past and a big personality that will upend their new living situation in more ways than one. Hayes will play Beth, Patrick's wife and mother to their three sons. She is trying her best to hold things together and keep things as normal as possible for the family. Living under the same roof with Uncle Terry and her mother-in-law, Tiffany (Kurtz), presents challenges in an already chaotic household with three boys growing up without their dad.
EPIX's GRAVES
  • Secrets and Lies star Juliette Lewis has joined the comedy's upcoming second season in a recurring role. She will play Bailey Todd, a hard-living, leather-clad, tell-it-like-it-is New York City music manager and producer. As ex-President Graves' (Nick Nolte) spiritual muse Samantha (Callie Hernandez) finds a new calling as a singer-songwriter, Bailey shows up at her trailer with the idea that she might have what it takes to be the next big thing.
FREEFORM'S NEW WARRIORS
  • Milana Vayntrub, Derek Theler, Jeremy Tardy, Calum Worthy, Matthew Moy and Kate Comer will star in the upcoming comedy from Marvel. Vayntrub will play Doreen Green aka Squirrel Girl, a totally empowered fangirl who has the incredible powers of a squirrel. Her greatest quality is her optimism and her best friend is a pet squirrel, Tippy Toe. Theler will play Craig Hollis aka Mister Immortal, who can't die or so he says. Although his superpower seems amazing, he hasn't made use of it at all - he figures if he has all the time in the world to learn how to do anything heroic, what's the rush? Tardy will play Dwayne Taylor aka Night Thrasher, a brilliant, noble, maybe a bit full of himself and shameless self-promoter and entrepreneur who also deeply believes in justice. Worthy will play Robbie Baldwin aka Speedball, an impulsive people-pleaser with a misplaced sense of confidence who throws kinetic balls of energy that are completely out of control. Moy will play Zack Smith aka Microbe, a shy hypochondriac whose ability is that he can talk to germs that tell him where you've been, what you ate and who you hung out with. It's impossible to keep secrets around him. Comer will play Deborah Fields aka Debrii, a proud, funny and quick-witted lesbian and low-level telekinetic, very low like she can move a paper cup.
NBC's GOOD GIRLS
  • Mad Men star Christina Hendricks has been tapped to star in the upcoming drama opposite Mae Whitman and Retta. She will play Beth, who gets tired of trying to make ends meet and decides it's time to stick up for herself by robbing the local supermarket with her younger sister (Whitman) and best friend (Retta). But when the manager catches a glimpse of one of them and the loot is far more than they expected, it doesn't take long for the three best friends to realize the perfect getaway will be harder than they think. Kathleen Rose Perkins played the role in the original pilot but exited the drama when it was ordered to series.
