Lifetime Renews 'UnREAL' and 'Mary Kills People'

During its presentation at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour, Lifetime renewed its original drama series UnREAL (for a fourth season) and Mary Kills People (for a second second).






The fourth season pickup for UnREAL comes months ahead of the show's Season 3 debut. After airing in the summer for its first two seasons, the drama was pushed to an early 2018 debut for its upcoming season. 

In Season 3, the drama stars Shiri Appleby, Constance Zimmer, Craig Bierko, Josh Kelly, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman and Caitlin FitzGerald.

Marti Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro created the drama. They executive produce with Stacy Rukeyser, Sally DeSipio, Bill Davenport, Peter O'Fallon, David Solomon. and Robert M. Sertner. A+E Studios produces.

The Season 2 renewal for Mary Kills People comes nearly two months after the drama was renewed for a six-episode second season by Canadian broadcaster Global. The series first aired in Canada in January before making its U.S. debut on Lifetime in April after Lifetime came onboard as a co-producer in late 2016.

The drama stars Caroline Dhavernas, Jay Ryan, Richard Short, Lyriq Bent, Greg Bryk, Sebastien Roberts and Abigail Winter.

Tara Armstrong created the drama. She executive produces with Tassie Cameron and Holly Dale. Entertainment One, Corus Entertainment and Cameron Pictures produce.
