NBC is making some changes to its fall premiere date schedule. Shows with new premiere dates this fall include the second season of The Good Place and the fifth season of The Blacklist.
The Good Place was original set to begin its second season on Thursday, September 28 at 8:30/7:30c. along with the rest of NBC's Thursday night comedy lineup. It will now have a special hourlong premiere on Wednesday, September 20 at 10/9c. following the two-hour season finale of America's Got Talent. It will then make its regular time slot debut on September 28.
The Blacklist was scheduled to premiere its fifth season on Wednesday, October 4. That date has now been moved up one week to Wednesday, September 27 at 8/7c. - alongside the network's other two Wednesday night drama premieres.
