Amazon has today announced a premiere date for the upcoming fourth season of its hit original comedy series Transparent.
The 10-episode fourth season will debut on the streaming service on Friday, September 22.
The new season sees the Pfeffermans head off on a spiritual and political journey as they dig deep into their family's history. Maura heads to Israel to speak at a conference and makes a startling discovery. She's later joined by the rest of the family - who ultimately set off on their own paths to find acceptance, love and truth.
The cast includes Jeffrey Tambor, Amy Landecker, Jay Duplass, Gaby Hoffmann and Judith Light.
Jill Soloway created the series. She executive produces with Andrea Sperling. Amazon Studios produces.
