FREEFORM's GROWN-ISH
  • The upcoming spinoff of ABC's Black-ish has changed its name. It was formerly known as College-ish and will now be called Grown-ish. Furthermore, it was confirmed today that Chris Parnell, Trevor Jackson and Emily Arlook will star in the comedy opposite Yara Shahidi. Parnell will play Dean Parker, the dean of Southern California University. Jackson will play Aaron, a socially-conscious sophomore. Arlook will play Miriam, a freshman know-it-all with a no holds barred attitude.
TNT's THE ALIENIST
  • Michael Ironside (Total Recall, The Machinist) has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Daniel Brühl and Luke Evans. He will play J.P. Morgan, the famous American financier and banker who wielded great power in New York City at the turn of the century.
NBC's THE BLACKLIST
  • Aida Turturro (The Sopranos) and Michael Aronov (Oslo) will appear in the drama's upcoming fifth season. Turturro will guest star as Hawkins, the brilliant accountant for an unusual business who has saved her own skin by cutting a deal with the Feds against a former business partner she absolutely loathes. Aronov will recur as Smokey Putnum, an expert in the art and science of logistics who once managed the travel arrangements of a magnificent, yet unusual, business, but has since fallen on hard times, currently on the run and accused of embezzling over $2 million.
